- Assumes responsibilities for managing multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs with a high degree of technical and non-technical complexity.- Promotes alignment within the integrated consultant and client Program and Project teams through effective and regular communications.- Works directly with client staff, developing strong relationships, including external teaming partners, and internal technical resources.- Works with the Owner and Carollo program management team to develop program and project delivery approaches that meet the Owner’-specific needs.- Monitors and manages internal and external factors that influence a Program.- Plans and leads program initiation and implementation tasks.- Manages and leads both consultant and owner teams in the planning, design, and construction phases of large public infrastructure programs as the designated Program Manager. - Performing civil engineering work in water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance infrastructure, focused on site design project components including site layout, yard piping, roadways, paving and grading, and stormwater infrastructure - Work on engineering planning and design projects conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, overseeing fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and report preparation- Develop plans and specifications- Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects- Hydraulic modeling- Permitting and alternative analysis- Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables- Provide engineering services during construction- Participate in field activities and site reconnaissance

- Serve as an engineer on the planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning of water, wastewater, recycled water, and stormwater infrastructure projects of various sizes. Projects may include but are not limited to master planning, pipelines, pump stations, and storage facilities. - Perform data entry and analysis- Perform system modeling, process calculations, and hydraulic calculations to size and select facilities- Prepare cost estimates- Perform permitting and alternatives analysis - Prepare technical memoranda, reports, plans and specifications, and other deliverables- Perform engineering services during construction, including but not limited to reviewing contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluating requests for information- Coordinate the work of other engineering disciplines, designers, modelers, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments- Participate in field activities, such as site visits, overseeing field work, and pilot testing- Travel may be required

Professional Engineer through Senior Engineer additional responsibilities could include:- Registration as a Professional Engineer- Experience delivering and managing water/wastewater infrastructure projects with partial responsibility for budget, schedule, contract obligations, and quality standards- Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints- Assist with coordinating sub-consultant work- May serve as project manager on small to medium sized projects and would assume all project manager responsibilities.- Assist project manager with the planning, scheduling, coordinating, supervising, and reviewing of the work of the project team, including: environmental, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation/controls engineers; drafters, technicians; technical experts; and subconsultants- Assist project manager with meeting budget, schedule, and quality goals- Perform data analysis, system modeling, and hydraulic calculations to size and select facilities- Contribute to a culture of effective communication among project teams, clients, partners, and other stakeholders- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, especially at the staff level- Assist with proposal preparation, including development of scopes of work and engineering fee estimates- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring of project staff and entry level engineers
