Our infrastructure and pump station-based groups in Seattle, provides support for numerous one-of-a-kind water and wastewater conveyance projects supporting critical systems that keep our environment safe and clean. We are seeking an engineering intern to support Carollo’s vision. As part of our team, you will work on infrastructure projects related to the conveyance of water and wastewater to help create sustainable and resilient communities. The infrastructure team prefers in-person collaboration on their projects.

Responsibilities

  • Performing engineering work in water and wastewater pump stations and conveyance infrastructure
  • Work on engineering planning and design projects
  • Prepare reports
  • Develop plans and specifications
  • Prepare cost estimates for various projects
  • Hydraulic system modeling
  • Development of alternative analysis of design options
  • Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables.
  • Provides engineering services during construction.

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, articulate and self-starter.
  • Enrolled or completed sophomore year of civil or environmental engineering degree program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Apply engineering principles including critical thinking and analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Excited about in-person mentoring and collaboration.

Pay Range

$24.00 to $35.00 per hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
