Overview

Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Process Engineering-Intern-Water for our Seattle office. 

As part of our team, you will work on projects related to municipal water treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical drinking water projects.  Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, articulate, and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Performs engineering work in water treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
  • Prepares reports and makes presentations.
  • Develops plans and specifications.
  • Prepares cost estimates for various water projects.
  • Conducts system modeling and drinking water chemistry analysis.
  • Prepares permitting and alternative analysis documents.
  • Provides engineering services during construction.

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, articulate and self-starter.
  • Enrolled or completed sophomore or junior year of civil or environmental engineering degree program.
  • Coursework that directly applies include: hydraulics, physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes and treatment plant design.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Apply engineering principles including critical thinking and analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Excited about in-person mentoring and collaboration.

Pay Range

$25.00 to $30.00 per hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
