Overview

Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Resident Project Representative to help represent our clients interests during  project construction.

Responsibilities

    • Maintains complete project files including a project photo file

    • Keeps detailed records of construction progress, changed conditions, and as built drawings
    • Prepares monthly estimates of quantity of construction completed
    • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with contractors, consultant, and owner
    • Preliminary review of Submittals, RFIs, RFCs, etc. to ensure they are complete prior   to forwarding to engineers for formal review
    • Review and acceptance of project schedule updates
    • Preliminary review of change orders
    • Generation and maintenance (along with project engineers) of project punch list.
    • Assist with reviewing and recommendation of construction pay applications
    • Weekly review of contractor record drawings to ensure accuracy
    • Assistance in start-up and commissioning activities

Qualifications

    • 0-4 years of experience.
    • Completion of OSHA 10-hour safety course and other construction safety training
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be willing to travel regularly and be working in the field full time
    • Technical or associate degree in a related technical field.
    • AS or BS in engineering or construction related program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

Pay Range

An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
