Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. As a critical member of our growing communications team, the Lead Graphic Designer will support the development and execution of visual content across all communications platforms, helping to elevate our brand and engage key stakeholders. The individual will collaborate with the Communications team, Art Director, and other departments to create compelling and cohesive visual materials for both internal and external audiences.

• Lead designer on high-level pursuits.
• Oversees and coordinates production of materials.
• Able to take design projects from conception to delivery with minimal supervision.
• Liaises/collaborates with marketing and design teams.
• Maintains brand consistency throughout all marketing projects.
• Reviews work for accuracy and quality.
• Stays up-to-date with industry developments and tools, and disseminate this information.
• Interprets project needs and understand constraints.
• Produces creative, high-impact designs.
• Trains designers as necessary on software, tools, and visual communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• BA degree in design, visual arts, or relevant field.
• 5-12 years of experience in graphic design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Software.
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and juggle multiple projects under deadline.
• Possess strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, layout, and typography.
• Strong production and creative problem-solving skills, with attention to visual details.
• Strong creative, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts, and layouts.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated versatility and education/experience in the areas of print media, digital communications, and multimedia technologies.
• Prior experience in the engineering field.
An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
