Blue Plan-it®/Environmental Engineering Intern

Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Blue Plan-it Enviromental Engineering Intern to help support Blue Plan-it capabilities and business units.

Build a Blue Plan-it® Model

• Start a simple model to grasp the concept
• Select a business case, e.g., a Technical Economic Analysis (TEA) on produced water hauling vs. treatment for oil and gas production using Blue Plan-it®

• Optional Learning Objective: Sensitivity analysis and Mult-objective optimization

Acquire Data Analysis Experience (optional tasks)

• Data analysis in Excel, BPI workbook
• Optional Learning Objective: JMP or Minitab, Machine Learning using Python on ongoing BPI projects.  

Understand the Business 

• Meet with the Blue Plan-it® team and brainstorm how to improve our current practice from a business standpoint.
• Final Deliverable/presentation: Write a brief report or making a powerpoint on suggestions to boost the revenue or profit for the company.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pursuing Business Degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
