Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer.
The Senior Network Engineer is a subject matter specialist for all aspects of network routing, switching, and firewall operations in all wired, wireless, and virtual Carollo Networks. The role involves design, installation, operation, security, and support for a nationwide network. It includes capacity planning, network augmentation, strategic expansion and the development and maintenance of Carollo’s networking standards, processes, procedures, and documentation. The individual will have the opportunity to design, install, operate, secure, and maintain Carollo's current and next generation data networks for both on premise and cloud-based business application computing needs. This individual will work closely with Information Security, Infrastructure and Application team members to deliver a superior class of network services and support.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, self-motivated, high-achieving professional with very strong knowledge and expertise in networking and security for on-premises and cloud-based network installations. They should have a passion for technology and be eager to work with fellow team members to develop solutions that support the business objectives. They should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically and to develop solutions for complex networking problems. They must have strong communication, organization, project, and task management skills.
This position is a hybrid position. Candidate must reside within commuting distance of a Carollo office.
$100,000 to $130,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
