Carollo Engineers is a nationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. Our vision is to become the best water consulting firm in the United States, and we are looking for motivated, talented people to help us reach that goal. We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support Carollo's vision of becoming the best water consulting firm in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manages onboarding process for new hires including reviewing, tracking, and submitting all tasks associated with onboarding, including new hire documents, I9 processing, and data entry into Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Team, Office Managers, Office Administrators, Payroll and IT Support to prepare for an employee’s first day.
  • Supports Recruiting Team in drafting offer letters, repayment agreements, and teleworker agreements within Carollo’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Conducts benefits orientations with new employees.
  • Conducts 30-day check-ins with new employees.
  • Performs client service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes verifications of employment and education verification.
  • Performs data entry to maintain HRIS records.
  • Utilizes Carollo’s cloud-based filing system for employment records.
  • Ensures integrity and completeness of critical documents and records within the Human Resources repositories, ensuring files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Assists with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Undertakes a variety of Human Resources administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains confidentiality of records, reports and other related correspondence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources-related field 
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong client service
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Knowledge of accurate I9 completion and E-Verify
  • HRIS and ATS knowledge and skills
