Overview

Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Client Service Manager to win and manage engineering work in the Tampa Bay region of Florida. In this client-facing role, you will be instrumental in building on our growth in the region and will be facilitating the planning, design, and construction of complex water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in business development and marketing, management of client service relationships, preparation of pursuit plans and proposals, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develops significant relationships with new and existing clients and has responsibility for client maintenance
  • Responsible for acting independently and making sound business decisions to achieve marketing goals
  • Leads teams to prepare proposals, conduct interviews, and negotiate contracts with clients
  • Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of other organizations and companies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and pursuits simultaneously
  • Involved in exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation, and development of novel concepts and approaches
  • Active in professional associations, including presentation of technical papers, member of technical committee, officer of local or national organization
  • Assists with training and mentoring internal staff
  • Some travel is required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida
  • 15+ years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business in the water industry
  • Experience delivering water and wastewater treatment, wastewater collection systems, water transmission/distribution, pipeline rehabilitation, and/or pump station projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple clients and project teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering
  • Design and construction phase experience

Pay Range

$160,000-$210,000
